• Serves as the overseer of all chapter activities and the official representative of the chapter members.

• Works to meet the needs of each chapter member.

• Facilitate chapter meetings by working with the officer team to develop meeting agendas, leading the meeting using official meeting procedure and lead evaluation sessions following meetings.

• Facilitate the establishment and operation of chapter committees

• In the event that the chapter president is unable to perform their duties, the vice president steps in the fulfill the presidents duties as well

• Note taker for all chapter meetings (minutes)

• Helps the president make agendas

• Involved in anything associated with chapter finances (fundraising, budgeting, and reporting)

• Inform the teachers, administrators, and other students on campus about what is going on in SkillsUSA chapter

• Makes sure that the chapter meetings are run in a manner that is respectful of each member

• Follow the meeting agenda at every chapter meeting to assure that the meeting is run according to the rules

• Help the president lead a fair and efficient meeting
