Experimental group of 26 undergraduates who went without food for 20 hours. Control group was not deprived of food. The participants were randomly allocated to each group The participants were shown 4 different meals for 15 second then turned off the projector and asked the participants to adjust the light dimmer so that it matched the picture they were shown before.
