Hello, my name is Sahaab Awan and I’m currently a sophomore

So as you know, we’re all apart of HOSA- an incredible organization that’s all about empowering us to pursue our passions in healthcare

I’m here to try to make even more of an impact on that, I’m not here to make promises I can’t keep- I’m telling you what difference I believe I can make as a HOSA officer

First and foremost, I want to focus on internships. I know how crucial real world or hands on experience is, especially when we’re considering careers in healthcare. So I’ll be committed to finding meaningful internships that align with your interests, whether it’s working in a lab, interacting with patients, or volunteering at hospitals- I will work hard to provide that

Speaking of volunteering, that’s another area I want to improve on- I will dedicate my self to provide a diverse range opportunities that create a positive impact on our community and cater your interests- no matter what path in the medical field you want to take

whether you want to go into pediatrics, pharmology, or working in administration

through my effort, i will be able to provide these volunteer opportunities and make it a reality for you

I can promise you this: I’ll do everything I can- I’ll put in the work, I’ll listen to your ideas, and I’ll advocate for your needs
